Individualized Attention
In a Relaxed Family Setting
Founded in 1949, Hillwood focuses on the individual child to help him or her flourish academically and socially through small classroom sizes and tested academic curriculum.
Hillwood offers a family atmosphere with extended hours from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Classroom hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and tuition (including the cost of extended care and a hot lunch daily) is $700 per month ($7,000 annually). Our program includes choral music, foreign languages, art, and recess at the neighborhood park. The integrated curriculum emphasizes math skills, English and language arts, as well as science, history/social studies. We currently teach Spanish as a second language to all grades, kindergarten through eighth grade.
Students also have access to our camp and lodge in Muir Woods during June and July, as part of our summertime Outdoor Education Program. To tour Hillwood, located at 2521 Scott Street and Broadway, please contact:
